You can import an existing customer list into Appointy using a CSV file instead of adding customers one by one.
This is useful when you are moving from another scheduling system, migrating customer records from a spreadsheet, or setting up Appointy for an existing business.
What file format can I use to import customers?
Appointy supports CSV files for customer imports.
You can also download the sample import file from the Upload CSV window to see the expected format before preparing your customer list.

Why is field mapping important?
The column names in your CSV file may not always be identical to the field names used by Appointy.
Field mapping tells Appointy where each piece of customer information should be stored.
For example:
| CSV column | Map to Appointy field |
|---|---|
| First Name | First Name |
| Last Name | Last Name |
| Mobile | Phone |
Correct mapping helps ensure customer information is imported into the appropriate fields.
When should I use customer import?
Customer import is useful when:
- Moving from another booking or scheduling platform
- Migrating an existing customer database
- Importing customers from a spreadsheet
- Setting up Appointy for an established business
- Adding a large number of customer records at once
If you only need to add one or a few customers, manually adding them may be faster.
