Time interval setting enables you to set the interval in which the time-slots will be opened for a service. Each service can have a different time interval. You also have the ability to open a service at specific time-slots which is achieved by setting precision time-slots for a service.
Here’s how you can edit the time interval for a service:
Quick Nav — (Settings → Service → Select the service for which you want to edit the time interval → Click on the ‘Edit’ button against ‘Time Interval’ → Update the time interval for the service → Click on ‘Save’)
- Log into the Appointy admin panel.
. - Click on the ‘Settings’ icon in the toolbar appearing on the left.
. - Go to the ‘Service’ tab under the ‘Resource Management’ section.
. - Click on the service name for which you want to edit the time interval.
. - Under the ‘Details’ tab, click on the ‘Edit’ button against ‘Time Interval’.
.
. - By default, time interval for a service is set according to the business time interval settings.
.
.
You can set a custom time interval for each service by selecting the second option ‘Set custom time interval’ and adding the time interval in minutes. For example, if you set the time interval for the service as 90 minutes, the service time-slots will open as 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM… with an interval of 90 minutes each.
.
.
If you want to open specific time-slots for a service, select the third option ‘Precision’ and add the open time-slots separated by a comma. For example, the open time-slots can be added as ‘10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM’ as shown in the reference image below.
.
.
If you want a specific time-slot for a service should not appear as available for booking unless the previous time-slots are booked, add ‘#’ before the time-slot instead of a comma. For example, if you want that 4:00 PM should not be available for booking unless 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM get booked, then add the time-slots as ‘10:00 AM, 1:00 PM # 4:00 PM’.
