You can delete a resource from Appointy when it is no longer required by your business.
A resource can represent a room, chair, machine, vehicle, studio, workstation, or any other limited asset used while delivering a service.
When should I delete a resource?
Delete a resource when the asset is permanently no longer in use.
For example:
- A treatment room has been permanently removed
- A vehicle is no longer part of the business
- A machine or piece of equipment has been retired
- A service bay or workstation has been closed
- A resource was created by mistake
If the resource may be used again later, it is better to review whether you can simply unlink it from services instead of deleting it.
How to delete a resource
Quick navigation
Settings → Resources → Delete Resource → Confirm
Steps
- Log in to your Appointy admin account.
- Click Settings in the toolbar on the left.
- Open the Resources tab.
- Find the resource you want to delete.
- Click the Delete icon shown on the right side of that resource.
- Click Confirm.
.
Example: Retiring a treatment room
Suppose a spa previously had four treatment rooms, but one room has been permanently converted into office space.
Because that room will no longer be available for appointments, the business can delete the corresponding resource from Appointy.
This helps keep resource availability aligned with the business’s actual operating capacity.
