If a service has been disabled or suspended in Appointy, you can restore it by changing its status back to Active.
This is useful when a service was temporarily unavailable and you want to make it bookable again.
What is a suspended service?
A suspended service is a service that has been disabled and is not currently active for booking.
The service still exists in your Appointy account, so you do not need to create it again. You can simply reactivate it when you are ready to offer it again.
How to enable a suspended service
Quick navigation
Settings → Service → Active dropdown → Suspended → Select Service → Details → Turn on Active
Steps
- Log in to your Appointy admin account.
- Click Settings in the toolbar on the left.
- Under Resource Management, open Service.
- Click the down-facing arrow next to Active beside the Service title.
- Select Suspended from the drop-down menu.
- From the list of suspended services, select the service you want to restore.
- Under the Details tab, turn on the toggle next to Active.
The service will be enabled again.

Example: Temporarily pausing a seasonal service
Suppose a business offers a Holiday Mini Photo Session only during November and December.
Once the season ends, the business does not want customers to continue booking that service, but it also does not want to delete the service because it plans to offer it again next year.
The business can suspend the service.
When the seasonal service becomes available again, the Admin can open the Suspended service list and turn Active back on.
This allows the business to reuse the existing service instead of creating it again.
And I would adjust the next section slightly:
When should I suspend a service instead of deleting it?
Suspend a service when the service itself is temporarily unavailable but you expect to offer it again later.
For example:
- A seasonal service
- A limited-time service that will return later
- A temporarily paused program or class
- A service being reviewed or reconfigured before reopening
- A service temporarily removed from customer booking
