Appointy lets you control which columns are displayed in a report by adding the fields you need and removing the ones you do not.
This is useful when you want to simplify a report, focus on specific information, or prepare a cleaner report before printing or exporting it.

How to customize report columns
Step 1: Open Reports
Log in to your Appointy admin account and click the Reports icon from the left-side navigation.
Step 2: Open the report
Select the report you want to customize.
Step 3: Open column customization
From the icons available in the top-right corner of the report, click the Select Columns or funnel-shaped icon.
Step 4: Choose the fields you want to display
In the Select Columns window:
- Select the fields you want to include in the report
- Deselect the fields you want to remove from the report view
This lets you tailor the report to the information that is most relevant to you.
For example, you may want to keep:
- Customer Name
- Service
- Staff
- Appointment Date
- Appointment Status
while removing columns that are not required for that particular review.
Step 5: Apply the changes
Once you have selected the required fields, click Apply.
Why customize report columns?
Customizing report columns can help you:
- Reduce unnecessary information
- Focus on specific business data
- Make reports easier to read
- Prepare cleaner reports before printing
- Export only the information you need
- Create different report views for different operational requirements
Example
Suppose you want to review staff performance and only need:
- Appointment Date
- Staff
- Service
- Appointment Status
- Amount
You can remove unrelated columns before reviewing or exporting the report.
This makes the report easier to work with and keeps the exported data more focused.
Customize columns before exporting or printing
You can customize the report view first and then continue with other report actions.
For example:
Select Columns → Apply → Export
or:
Select Columns → Apply → Print
This is useful when you want the report to contain only the fields relevant to your analysis.
