You can permanently delete an intake form field when that question or field is no longer required anywhere in your booking flow.
Deleting a field removes it from the intake forms of all services to which it is assigned.
Important: A deleted intake form field cannot be restored. Deleting the field also removes the saved response associated with the customer profile. However, intake-form information already captured against an existing booked appointment remains available with that appointment.

What happens when you delete an intake form field?
Deleting a field has several effects:
- The field is removed from all services to which it was assigned.
- The field itself cannot be restored.
- Saved responses associated with the customer profile are removed.
- Responses already captured against existing booked appointments remain available with those appointments.
This is important if you have already collected information from customers using that field.
Example
Suppose your intake form contains:
Do you have any allergies?
A customer answers:
Peanuts
Later, you permanently delete the field.
After deletion:
- The allergy field is removed from all services where it was used.
- The saved response against the customer's reusable intake-form information is removed.
- If the answer was already captured with an existing appointment, it remains available with that appointment.
Delete a field vs remove it from a service
These are different actions.
Remove the field from a service
Use this when the field is no longer required for one service but should remain available for other services.
For example:
Medical History may still be required for a consultation but not for a follow-up service.
In that case, edit the field and deselect only the service where it is no longer needed.
Delete the field
Delete the field only when it is no longer required for any service.
Because deletion is permanent and affects saved customer-level intake information, it should be used carefully.
When should you delete an intake form field?
Delete a field when:
- The question is no longer required anywhere
- It should be removed from all assigned services
- You no longer need the saved customer-level responses associated with it
If the field is still required for some services, remove it only from the relevant service instead.
