In Appointy, each of your staff member can have a defined schedule, and therefore you have the option to block out days/timeslots from a staff’s availability. Here’s to add an unavailability for a staff.
There are two easy ways that you can block dates and times.
Option 1:
Once logged in into your Appointy account, click on the ‘calendar’ icon in the left tab. On the WEEK or STAFF view of the calendar, you can click on the blocking icon in the top row to block the dates straightaway.
NOTE : If you have multiple staff members listed in your account, blocking a date from the WEEK view of the calendar will block out the particular date for all the staff members. To block dates/times for a particular staff member, we would advise blocking the date for them from the STAFF tab in the calendar view, or as shown in the options 2 below.
Option 2 :
- Once logged in into your Appointy admin panel, click on the ‘gear’ icon in the left tab to go to Settings. Then, click on the staff member to reveal the staff properties and go to the ‘BLOCK TIME’ tab.
- On this window, Click on “BLOCK MORE” button to add the dates or time slots that are to be blocked.
- On this window, simply select the dates you would like to block, and then click on “ADD”
- If you only want to make only certain time slots unavailable, you can do so from the from the ‘BLOCK TIME’ tab next to the ‘BLOCK DATE’ tab. Simply select the start time and end time for the timeslot you want to block, select the date you’d like to block it on, and click ‘ADD’.
