If your services do not have a weekly recurring availability, setting up irregular times would be the way to go. Irregular times can also be added in addition to regular Business hours.
Each of your staff can have irregular work schedules and so, irregular Business Hours can be set against each staff.
Follow the steps below to setup Irregular Business Hours.
- Once logged in into your Appointy admin panel, click on the ‘gear’ icon in the left tab to go to Settings. Then, click on ‘Business Hours’
- On the ‘Irregular’ tab in Business hours, navigate to the date you want to add the time for, and click on ‘+’ symbol on the day slots for the staff member whose irregular work times you are updating.
- Add the ‘Start’ and ‘End’ times for the timeslots you want to open and click on the ‘ADD’ button.

Different repeat settings for Irregular times and what they mean:
Daily |
The added timeslots will be marked ‘available’ for the staff every day until the set end date. |
Alternate day |
The added timeslots will be marked ‘available’ for the staff every alternate day until the set end date. |
Weekly |
Once you choose which days of the week you’d like to add this availability to, the added timeslots will be marked ‘available’ for the staff on those chosen days of the week until the set end date. |
Bi-weekly |
Once you choose which days of the week you’d like to add this availability to, the added timeslots will be marked ‘available’ for the staff on those chosen days of the week, for every second week until the set end date. |
Monthly-Date |
Once you choose the date of the month you’d like to add this availability to, the added timeslots will be marked ‘available’ for the staff on that chosen date of the month, for every month until the set end date. |
Monthly-Day | ‘n’, being any number between 1 to 5. Once you choose which nth the day of the week you’d like to this availability to every month, the added timeslots will be marked ‘available’ for the staff on that chosen nth day of the week of the month, for every month until the set end date. To explain with an example - if you’d like to add an availability to every second Monday of the month, you would use this setting. |
Irregular Business Hours allow a regular staff to work at times other than regular working hours (like 1:00 pm on this Sunday) or assign services to a guest staff. You can also use this feature to setup different availability for each season. For example, a staff which performs all services from 10:00 AM through 6:00 PM in winter can be set to do a 7:00 AM through 3:00 PM shift in the summer.
Irregular work times are not dependent on regular work times. So, adding 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for any service will open up regardless of times entered in regular work schedule.
Irregular times are also dependent on blocked times for the particular staff unless specified while adding a time as displayed below.
