Accepting payments in Appointy via a POS

With Square POS, you can accept payments from your clients through debit/credit card right at your billing desk.

Firstly, you need to integrate your Appointy account with Square to start accepting payments through Square POS. Once you have integrated Square, download the Appointy mobile app, log into the admin account and then connect your mobile device with Square POS. The Appointy app on your mobile phone is a handy solution to accept or decline payment requests made through Square POS.

The below given steps will show you how to accept and record payments in Appointy through Square POS:

1. Log into your Appointy account.

2. Go to the ‘Calendar’ tab from the toolbar appearing on the left.

3. Click on the appointment for which you need to record a POS payment.
   .
   
4. Once the appointment details side panel opens on the left, click on the ‘Add Payment’ button appearing at the bottom of the panel.

5. Add the payment details like the payment amount, discount, additional charges, etc. and then click on the ‘Pay with Square’ button.

6. Once you click on ‘Pay through Square’, a payment request notification will be triggered in your Appointy mobile app.

7. Accept the payment request in your Appointy mobile app. A POS payment will be received via Square and recorded in your Appointy account for the appointment.
