You can adjust the time interval to set the availability of time-slots for the services in the client’s booking interface. You can adjust the availability of time-slots based on the following time interval settings.
- Calculate automatically - System will automatically calculate and open the time-slots.

The system calculates the least common multiple of all the service durations and opens the time-slots accordingly.

For instance, if you have set the service duration for Service ‘A’ as 15 minutes, Service ‘B’ as 30 minutes and Service ‘C’ as 45 minutes, then the system will open the time-slots after every 15 minutes.

If the service duration for your services are 8 minutes, 48 minutes and 50 minutes, then the system will open the time-slots after every 5 minutes as the smallest time interval unit in Appointy is 5 minutes.
. - Fixed - Opening time-slots after a fixed time interval.

For example, if you set the fixed time interval as 30 minutes and your business hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, the time-slots will open as 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM...till 4:30 PM.
. - Precision - Opening specific time-slots.

For example, if you want to open specific time-slots for a service, you can add the open time-slots separated by a comma. For example, the open time-slots can be added as ‘10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM’.

If you want a specific time-slot for a service should not appear as available for booking unless the previous time-slots are booked, add ‘#’ before the time-slot instead of a comma. For example, if you want that 4:00 PM should not be available for booking unless 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM get booked, then add the time-slots as ‘10:00 AM, 1:00 PM # 4:00 PM’.
In order to adjust the time interval settings for your client’s booking interface, follow the below-listed steps.

- Log into your Appointy admin panel.
. - Click on the ‘Settings’ icon in the toolbar appearing on the left.
. - Go to the ‘Availability Options’ tab under the ‘Customer Booking Flow’ section.
. - Click on the input field below ‘Availability to be shown in time interval’ and select one of the three time interval options from the drop-down — ‘Calculate Automatically’, ‘Fixed’ or ‘Precision’.
. - Select the time interval from the drop-down in the ‘Interval’ input field beside time interval settings. If you have selected ‘Precision’ as your time interval, enter the time-slots that you want to make available in the client’s booking interface. ‘Calculate automatically’ does not require setting up any interval as the time-slots will be made available automatically by the system.
. - Click on the ‘Save’ button.

Note: This time interval setting is a business level setting which will be applied to all the services. If you want to set a service specific time interval to adjust open time-slots for every service independently, you can do this by going to the service details in the ‘Service’ tab.
