"Facebook Profile" is meant for personal use and "Facebook Page" is for Business use. Facebook Pages has a "Like" button on top which anyone can click to become a fan. On the other hand Facebook Profile needs both, you and your client to accept each other's friends request. Facebook profile will bring you friends but Facebook page will bring you Fans.
