While designing booking process, we focused on making it easier for your clients to book their first appointment as well as future appointments.
- Every appointments needs some basic information like Name and contact information to be able to treat it as a genuine booking. So, we designed the booking form in a way that it has all the fields and the administrator can decide which fields are required to schedule an appointment. Administrators can select required fields from SETTINGS ~>> BOOKING RULES ~>> LOGIN OPTIONS. These fields will be shown to clients as an option.
- For repeat customers, the challenge was not to allow them to enter their information every time they book an appointment. So, we added a password field so they just have to enter their email and password again to book an appointment.
- We wanted to simplify this further and so we added Facebook and Gmail login where the customer would not require to enter any detail to book an appointment. Appointy is the only scheduling software that allows customers to book an appointment without using a keyboard.
That's the main reason why Appointy asks your client to set a password.
If you are concerned about the data, then in both case any scheduling software would save the data in order to display to administrators and staff. We have a strict privacy policy and you can download all your data anytime.
Adding a level of security to customer's account would only enhance customer's trust on the system. Hope it makes sense.
